Case Submission and Verification
After submitting the case, the treatment setup will show the number of aligners required.
If you need to keep treatment within a specific timeframe, select the 'Limit' option when submitting your case, and consider it by setting the treatment goals as some movements may possibly require more time.
To verify the details of your submission, click on any of the step numbers to ensure the information you have input is correct.
Overcorrection is only added to the case per the clinician's instructions. Overcorrection can be requested at the beginning of a case when filling out the submission form, when submitting a revision or when reviewing/approving the treatment setup.
When evaluating a treatment setup begin by confirming that the proposed tooth movements, staging, and biomechanics align with the patient’s clinical needs and your treatment objectives.
Providing clear and detailed information in the case submission form greatly improves the accuracy of the setup.
You have the option to work with Treatment Planning Service groups when using ClearCorrect. You can purchase TPS for your cases from one of our TPS partners directly within the Doctor Portal. Simply click “Add TPS Order” on the last page of the submission form to view the integrated TPS options available in your market. You can also choose to “Add TPS” order from the Case Details page after initial submission if you decide you would like treatment planning assistance after reviewing the initial setup. Finally, you may purchase TPS for revisions when submitting the revision form. After purchasing TPS in the submission form, the case will automatically be shared via the Collaborator Suite, and you can monitor its status using the Collaborator tools.
Additionally, you are welcome to work with any other TPS providers of your choice by sharing cases with them via the Collaborator Suite. While payment options may not be integrated, you can still use the communication and optimization tools available in the Collaborator Suite with other TPS providers who agree to the ClearCorrect terms and conditions.
If the 3D setup requires changes to tooth movements, staging, or biomechanics, use the comments to provide specific clinical instructions in ClearPilot and click SUBMIT CHANGES.
Our technicians will review your comments and make the requested changes, and provide an updated setup for your approval.
When submitting the case, use the 'Additional Information' field to request overcorrection with a digital power chain on the final two steps. This ensures the virtual power chain is included into the initial setup, avoiding revision requests.
If you have an incomplete submission that you would like to finish up, you can simply click on the patient’s name on the Manage Orders page.
If you did not include any photos when submitting your case, you should see "Waiting for records" on the Manage Orders page. If you click on the case, under the ACTION NEEDED tab, there will be an option to upload the photos to complete the submission.
If you included some photos, but need to remove them or add more, then you will need to call, email or chat to a Customer Care Representative.
No. We don't require X-rays but if you have it you can upload it with the case. For more information on photos & x-rays, go to the First Appointment article.
ClearCorrect introduced the “Treatment Approach” as a tool to communicate high-level treatment goals to treatment planning technicians. Initially, you will indicate the dentition type as either Permanent or Mixed Dentition*. Afterward, select the Treatment Approach:
- Aesthetic approach will focus on simple alignment in the anterior aesthetic zone with no molar movements.
- Full Arch Correction approach will consider all underlying orthodontic considerations.
By providing a dynamic prescription form which branches based on your desired approach, we can offer simple treatment selections for simple cases, and more advanced treatment selections for complex cases.
Treatment Details and Preferences
We recommend taking the scan first and performing IPR only at the stage indicated in the treatment plan. Following the planned IPR sequence ensures appropriate space creation and more predictable tooth movement.
Yes. ClearCorrect highly recommends reviewing and updating your treatment preferences prior to starting any case. These preferences are considered along with the prescription form when technicians prepare your setup, helping ensure that each treatment plan reflects your clinical guidelines and maintains consistency across your cases.
In order to view and/or modify your treatment preferences, simply navigate to My Account, then click Treatment Preferences in the left-hand menu. When selecting treatment preferences, please don’t forget to click the “save” button at the bottom to confirm your changes.
